Nepalese in the UK donate over Rs 1 million to construct college building

In an act of benevolence, Nepali diaspora in the United Kingdom have provided financial assistance to construct a college building in Terhathum district.

The Nepalis from Terhathum district have donated more than Rs 1.1 million to construct the building for Myanglung Multiple Campus. They collected the donation amount through their oganisation, Terhathum Samaj UK.

Member of Province Assembly of Province 1 Tejman Kandangwa inaugurated the newly constructed campus building amid a programme on Wednesday. Also on the occasion, Surya Khapung, former chairperson of a donor organisation contributing significantly to the college and assistant campus chief Prakash Dhungana were honoured.
