An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter scale hits Russia today at 4:24 am IST said United States Geological survey.

The earthquake hit 88 km south-southeast of Sovetskaya Gavan Russia at 22:54:34 UTC which is 203km from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Russia. The hit was 48.258 degree N 140.811 degree E with 587.0 km depth.
