Nepali women defeated by Bangladesh in SAG cricket

Nepali women have lost their second cricket match under the 13th South Asian Games currently underway in Nepal to Bangladesh by 10 wickets.

During the match played in Pokhara on Wednesday, the hosts were invited to bat first after losing the toss. They were restricted to just 50 runs. Before they were all out in 19.2 overs, only three players scored double-digit runs. They scored four fours, but not any six.

In the second innings, Bangladesh achieved the meagre 51-run target in just 7.4 overs without losing any wicket.

In their first match of the regional event, the hosts had defeated the Maldives by 10 wickets.
