President of main opposition Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba on Saturday said the NC would correct the incumbent government through the November 30 by-election.

The former Prime Minister has accused the government of restricting people’s various rights and interfering in judiciary, press freedom and function of constitutional bodies. “There is no alternative to the NC winning the by-poll so as to correct the government which has increased tax excessively,” he said urging voters to help NC win the by-poll.

Likewise, NC General Secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala slammed the government as trying to make the country as Venezuela and Rwanda, while central member Dr Ram Sharan Mahat accused the government of inclining to loot the state-coffer.

Similarly, stressing the need for the necessity of an disciplined and decent leader in Nepali politics, NC youth leader Gagan Kumar Thapa urged voters to vote for NC candidate Khem Raj Poudel from Kaski constituency 2 for a HoR member to fulfill the necessity. Candidate Poudel pledged to develop the constituency and work in favour of the local people.

The by-election is being held in Kaski constituency 2 for a member of the House of Representatives.
