Migrant worker from Pokhara dies in Portugal

A migrant worker from Pokhara who was working in Portugal has died in the capital city of Portugal, Lisbon.
Sujat Karki, 28, of Rambazaar in Pokhara, who was working in a restaurant in Lisbon, passed away recently, according to Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Chairman Portugal Chapter Kuber Karki.
Chairman Karki shared that Sujat was found lying unconscious on the way on May 1 and breathed his last being rushed to a hospital from the security personnel. Sujat was residing in Portugal for the past three years.
It is said that preparations for the final rites of Sujat are on to be held in Portugal based on the consultations with the family members and relatives.
