Culture, tourism and civil aviation minister has formed a 20 member group of experts to initiate the reforms in the aviation field of Nepal.
Minister Adhikari is popular for his work focused activities from the day of his appointment and his activities indicate that he is moving forward with the plan of charismatic reforms in the aviation and tourism sectors of Nepal. The newly formed group led by Minister Adhikari himself includes state ministers, Secretaries and vice secretaries that will advise the working committees for the necessary reforms in the civil aviation field. The experts group formed by Minister Adhikari includes former captains, civil aviation law experts, flight operation engineers and others.
The members of the experts group are Lalit Bikram Shah-ATM flight operation, Birendra Bahadur Deuja- former secretary, civil engineer-Nagendra Prasad Ghimire, former secretary of ATM- Yagya Prasad Gautam and Hari Bhakta Shrestha, aviation law expert Kamal Kumar KC, civil engineer Tri Ratna Manandhar- ATM, Ratis Chandralal Suman and Uday Wishombhar Shrestha – Air worthiness, Kamal Prasad Rimal – ANA, Vice captain PJ Shah – flight operation and others.
Prior to this, Minister Adhikari also has accelerated the work of the second international airport of Nepal, Nijgadh. The ministry has initiated the DPR study of the airport.
