50 medals to Nepalese in Taekwondo competition in America

The players of Nepalese origin have won 50 medals in the annual event of Taekwondo held on March 24 in Reston city, Virginia of the DC metropolitan area.

The Nepalese players have received 50 medals including 10 gold. The players of Nepalese origin and 35 foreign players had taken part in the competition from the Everest world class taekwondo academy of Baltimore. The players of the Everest group won 19 gold, 13 silver and 18 bronze medals. Nepalese players single handedly won 10 gold, 9 silver and 19 bronze medals for the Everest group. The founder of the Everest World Class Taekwondo Academy and the head coach are Master Kumar Karki and his wife Master Kalpana Karki.

The players of Nepalese origin have kept their heads high in the tournaments and have played the role of coach as well as the referee in the 39th national taekwondo 2018 ‘National capital open competition’.
