National Nepal day observed in Netherlands

National Nepal day is observed in the Netherlands capital Amsterdam organized jointly by Nepal tourism board and Nepal development foundation on March 18.

The program was inaugurated jointly by the Nepalese ambassador to Benelux, Lok Bahadur Thapa and the president of the Nepal development foundation as well as tourism ambassador, Sashi Poudel. The motive of the program was to promote the natural resources of Nepal, promoting the Nepali products in the European market, publicizing Nepali tourism profession all over Europe as well as extending the trade between the two countries. In the program organized in Netherlands aimed to extend the identification of the cultural diversity of Nepal, various artists of International Nepalese Artists Association (INAS) in Netherlands were successful to demonstrate the Nepalese culture dressed in various costumes.

Wilco Van Maurice, who climbed the Mount Everest without oxygen presented his working plan in the meeting while interaction on the works done in Nepal by the organization Wild Gees and the upcoming possible works was also conducted in the program.
