Himalayan Bank remittance service initiated in Malaysia

 Himalayan Bank Ltd. and NNP Korea company Ltd. have agreed for remittance services and the transactions have started.

The remittance transactions are initiated in the presence of deputy governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Chinta Mani Shiwakoti along with CEO of Himalayan Bank, Ashok Samsher junga Bahadur Rana at the central office of NNP Korea company Ltd. located at Dongdaemun of South Korea.

In the dinner ceremony organized on the occasion of initiation of remittance service, Nepalese ambassador for south korea, Arjun Jung Bahadur Singh, deputy governor of NRB, Chinta Mani Shiwakoti, NRB foreign exchange department’s deputy director Mina Adhikari, CEO of Himalayan bank Ashok Samsher junga Bahadur Rana, QS remit president of Korea, Lee Jong Teing as well as operator Minseo Park and other special guests were present. Teing said, the Nepalese working in Korea can have safe and faster utilization of remittance through this service.

The remittance from the Korean bank and all the authorized remittance companies can be easily withdrawn from all the 47 branches of Himalayan Bank as well as from more than eight thousand five hundred Himal Remit counters throughout Nepal.
