An ambulance service has come into operation at a remote settlement in Parbat with the support from the Non Resident Nepalese Association Russia.
The Ranipani Health Post based in Bihadi Rural Municipality-3 in south Parbat received an ambulance with the support from the Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Russia.
Members with the NRNA Russia collected Rs 2 million to manage funds for purchasing the vehicle. In the absence of ambulance services here, people were being deprived of timely treatment during emergency.
NRNA founding chair Dr Upendra Mahato, lawmaker from the Parbat constituency no. 2 Bikas Lamsal and NRNA Russia chair Rameshwor Gautam were there to hand over the ownership of a new vehicle to the health post amidst a progamme here Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, NRNA founding chair Dr Mahato the assistance was for improving health of the rural people and pledged to continue institutional assistance for the cause of humanitarian service in the days ahead.RSS
