Five municipalities’ chiefs to leave for Korea

Man Bahadur GC, mayor of Pokhara-Lekhnath Metropolis, leading a 10-member team is leaving for Korea to take part the Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS) & Mayors’ Forum.

The Summit will be held from 10 to 13 September in Daejeon, the New Hub City of Korea.

The Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS) and Mayors’ Forum, initiated by Brisbane City Council, is recognized as the region’s leading business and government forum for managing cities and urban development.

The Summit provides a dynamic and interactive platform for participants where over 100 municipalities’ chiefs from 20 countries are scheduled to exchange knowledge, identify a common agenda, develop shared solutions, improve city governance and ensure sustained prosperity.

According to Mayor GC’s press aide Laxman Timilsina, the team comprises Mayors of Kathmandu, Dharan, Dhulikhel and Nawalparasi and other five members. RSS
