Rs 1.3 million handed over for setting up Homestay

The Trishakti Buffer Zone Consumers Committee and the National Trust for Nature Conservation on Saturday handed over Rs 1.3 million for establishment of Khairkendra Community Homestay at Shuklaphanta municipality – 3.

The Homestay will be set up as part of the Shuklaphanta Conservation Programme. Shuklaphanta municipality’s Mayor, Dil Bahadur Aire, handed over a cheque carrying the amount to Home Stay Chair, Puran Chaudhary.

Aire said that homestay scheme is a medium of self-employment and that it would contribute towards promoting tourism business. RSS
