The mortal remains of singer Bikram Pariyar, who was murdered at Damauli in Tanahun on Sunday, has been brought to the capital city Tuesday.
Pariyar’s body was kept at the premises of Nepal Academy for condolence where Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel and Minister for Forest Shankar Bhandari paid their last tributes. The leaders said that country lost a dedicated and honest artiste, in the demise of Pariyar.
Likewise, Chancellor of Nepal Academy of Music and Drama Sharubhakta, cine artiste Gauri Malla, RSS Chairman Kul Chandra Wagle and others paid their last tributes to the popular singer Pariyar.
Late Pariyar was active in different genres of arts including singing, drama, and others. Pariyar is survived by his wife Bimala, also a signer, 14-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter.
